Masquerade II

o guys I think this is the piece of the month for me 😭 I'm so proud of it I can't even describe it in words ❤️. I was so close to publishing it unfinished then I realized how social media is started to affect my way of thinking. That I always need to publish something on time or somehow I'd feel like I haven't accomplished much which is such a toxic mindset. You need to be satisfied with the outcome in order to call it "finished". And even though there are plenty of things I can alter. I think what I can at least feel happy about is how I established the right mood which was the scariest part during this process 😭

So, this is a continuation of the large piece that follow the same event, the masquerade party happening at one of the kingdoms of my world. This region is a hybrid between french/Italian cultures during the 16th/17th century. Our princess here is the daughter of the king, she's despised among the rich for being against their lifestyle and always empathetic towards the poorer class. I'll explore more of her background in future paintings 😁. For now though I think I'll jump to another kingdom and call this one a wrap until I polish them more!
